Acca Kappa
is an Italian manufacturer, but one with an International mission
from its very beginnings. Founded in 1869 in Treviso, in the Veneto
region, it still today operates out of its original 1904 building in
the same city.
Continuity of
operations through time is in fact a guarantee of serious purpose,
and the individuals who head the company take full responsibility
for all decisions. Each material is carefully chosen within a
product philosophy that is in fact a philosophy of life-respect for
people and for the environment and well-being for the individual and
for the group.
The guiding principle of manufacturing is "soft technology" at the
service of a renewed interest in the "simplicity of things". This
means giving priority to natural materials such as wood, rubber,
bristles, vegetable fibers, Mediterranean sponges and aluminum. The
wood, whether it is common beech or Makassar ebony, comes from
plants that have been reforested, and normally the wood is not
varnished but is given its only finishing touches by hand.
Where it is inappropriate to use natural materials, other raw
materials are used that respect environmental concerns and the
intrinsic quality of the product. This same consideration is true
for biodegradable cellulose acetate, used for a new line of brushes
called "Bioceta", and also for methacrylate, a superb and resilient
plastic used for a line of brushes and accessories of the highest
quality.

Man
discovered the beauty and body care benefits of cedar oil
long ago, blending the strongaromatic properties in ancient
perfumes, incense and cosmetics.Today, Acca Kappa has
selected this same powerful ingredient of antiquity, the
essential oil of cedar wood, to create a new fragance that
is fresh and seductive. It contains essential oils of cedar
wood, cardamum, lemon, petitgrain, bergamot, cloves and
sage. Cedar
expresses the allure of masculinity, its courage and its
strength.

an elegant and distinctly masculine fragrance characterised
by the warm notes of a leather accord. A heady cocktail of
cardamom and geranium brings freshness to the fragrance and
compliments the dynamic notes of iris and violet leaves.
Amber and vanilla reflect a man's warmth and sense of
sensuality.
