Located in a beautifully restored 1882 Second Empire Heritage building on King Street East in Toronto, D a v i d M i t c h e l l is a leading hair studio and store with an unmatched assortment of luxury brands, product expertise and service under one roof. You enter The Store and immediately you are welcomed by warm smiles, exquisite aromas and great music. The space is minimal yet bathing in warmth, the twelve foot ceiling features a spectacular French antique crystal chandelier from the 1800s, complimented by rows of tiny halogen lights in polished nickel that combine to form the jewelry of the room. Black leather Barcelona chairs face each other in the centre of the room under the chandelier while the floors are a beautiful Maple. Products  that range from Prada, Acca Kappa, Phyto, Etro and 4mula are artfully placed on Italian and Swiss made shelves. The feature wall is covered in a fine 1800s Damask wallpaper in a rich gold, an inspiration from the original paper found on inner walls.  The Private Hair and Makeup Studio is a wide, open concept room with a twelve foot ceiling and skylight that provides art studio lighting. A grand floor to ceiling mirrored wall that might seem extravagant if it were not so essential for viewing full-body forms and helping to determine exact proportions and shape for your hair. The Studio is limited to only three styling chairs in white pressed crocodile and polished stainless steel with an ultra exclusive 12 feet of space between them. Comfort and privacy are an important part of the experience
