- WE ARE MAINTAINING OUR MASK REQUIREMENT EVEN AFTER THE RELAXATION OF ONTARIO'S COVID MEASURES!
- Continuous cleansing and sanitation of high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, chairs, faucets, toilet, surfaces, and Interac keypads etc. using hospital grade sanitation agents.
- All towels, smocks, cutting and colouring capes, are single use - laundered after each use on the sanitation cycle.
- We are masked, and we will provide you with a mask when you arrive - to be worn the entire time you are with us.
- We operate on a Private Client basis - one or two clients in the studio at the same time.
As always, we continue to monitor the situation and will update our measures accordingly.

STUDIO APPOINTMENTS
Some of our policies have been temporarily adapted as part of our COVID-19 RESPONSE MEASURES. See the link above for details.
Your studio appointments are reserved expressly for you. If you would like to cancel your appointment, we require that you contact us in person by telephone at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or cancelled by email or voicemail are fully chargeable. Advanced technical services such as the Yuko System Hair Straightening, Anti-Frizz and Great Lengths Hair Extensions require 7 days notice for cancellation without a charge.
STORE PURCHASES
Purchases made at David Mitchell Studio store locations are subject to exchange or store credit within 7 days of purchase on clothing items with proof of purchase, on the condition that they are deemed by us in our sole discretion to be unused, unaltered, not laundered and in original condition. Cosmetics, brushes and other products we deem to be intimate products are not returnable. Sale items are final sales.

We assure you that at David Mitchell Studio we maintain the strictest adherence to the health and safety measures mandated by our Canadian Public Health Authorities. In addition to our famously stringent sanitation standards, we have increased our safety and sanitation measures.
We are doing the following.
- Continuous cleansing and sanitation, especially high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, chairs, faucets, toilet, surfaces, and Interac keypads etc. using hospital grade sanitation agents.
- All towels, smocks, cutting and colouring capes, are single use - laundered after each use on the sanitation cycle.
- Upon arrival we will take your temperature using a professional contactless thermostat. You will be asked to reschedule your appointment if your temperature is equal to or over 38 Celsius.
- We will be wearing a mask, and we will provide you with a mask and gloves when you arrive - to be worn the entire time you are with us.
- We will continue to relax our cancellation policy to accommodate clients who must reschedule.
You are required to do the following.
- If you are in self-isolation (14 days) or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please call Cynthia to reschedule. Remember, you must self isolate if you have:
- returned from travel outside Canada
- been diagnosed with COVID-19
- symptoms of COVID-19, even if they are mild
- been in contact with a suspected, probable, or confirmed case of COVID-19
- Our Studio remains temporarily closed to the general public.
- We continue to operate on a Private Client basis - one or two clients in the studio at once or individuals from the same household.
- Our priority is for established clients. As always, we will accept new clients that are referred by established clients or by our invitation only.

Our Studio remains temporarily closed to the general public. We have resumed our PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICE - one client at a time or individuals from the same household.
Our priority is for established clients. As always, we will accept new clients that are referred by established clients or by our invitation only.
Fortunately, our 1400 square foot luxury studio has always been and remains ideally suited to social distancing. The luxury experience has always been important to us. It flows from us intuitively. For us, it is a model that is defined by attention to detail in the delivery of customized services and essential products of absolute quality. Our focus is entirely on the goals and aspirations of the individual client. Our space helps us cultivate a welcoming environment of comfort, acceptance, privacy, safety, and mutual respect – all of which is essential to real restoration and the exhilarating expression of personal style.

- Apparel can be viewed with your gloves and mask and can be tried-on on a case-by-case basis. If unsold, tried-on garments are set aside for 72 hours. Everything will be final sale – not returnable.
